MANILA, Philippines – More than 30 aspiring models took part in the go-see of Modéle Philippines, which is organized by the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP), produced by A Concept and presented by The Zen Institute.
Held recently at F1 Hotel Manila, eight judges observed and assessed the walk, style and attitude of each participant to determine whether he has what it takes to be one of the country’s influential models.
Judges included former PMAP president Angel Co, current PMAP president Raphael Kiefer, Girlie Benitez, Modéle Philippines project director Renee Salud, PR director Ana Manansala and PMAP members.
Finalists will be announced this August. Only 10 female and 10 male models will be chosen. All participants will be under the tutelage of 20 experts from the country’s fashion industry.
