Norwegian Embassy’s new home

The new office of the Royal Norwegian Embassy was officially inaugurated recently with Taguig City mayor Lani Cayetano gracing the affair. Royal Norwegian Embassy ambassador Erik Førner, Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs deputy director-general Nils Martin Gunneng and DelRosarioLaw Centre’s co-managing partner law- yer  Ruben Del Rosario cut the ceremonial ribbon to formally open the embassy’s new site at the 12th floor of the DelRosarioLaw Centre in Bonifacio Global City. Ambassador Førner said the new location promotes a more efficient operation and delivery of services with its finest facilities, modern and new technology, spacious meeting rooms, and better Internet connection. He is par- ticularly proud of its “open layout where barriers between diplomats and staff are reduced significantly.” Meanwhile, Mr. Gunneng noted that the transfer of the embassy is another strong signal of Norway’s long-term commitment to the Philippines, as well as to the ASEAN community. Congratulations on a smart move!
