Of Egyptian gods & elegant portraits
International portrait photographer Rupert Jacinto recently spearheaded the Faaabvlous VIII charity ball at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City.
Now on its eighth year, the event featured a photo exhibit of Rupert’s mixed-media portraiture and his graceful portraits of Manila’s most stylish women and distinguished men, which were displayed at the Gallery.
There was also a book launch and a charity ball with the theme “Gods of Egypt,” which took place at the Rigodon Ballroom.
Garbed in elegant black and white gowns and suits, philanthropic government and business leaders, as well as the most accomplished names in art and music, came in droves to see Rupert’s impressive skills on display. The well-heeled set also participated in the auction for a worthwhile cause, which is Santo Niño de Paz Chapel’s Love a Parish program.
Many of the guests also won exciting prizes from the raffle draw.
Congratulations to Rupert for another successful Faaabvlous exhibit and ball!
