STC, DBTC shine in Puma Cup
CEBU, Philippines — The St.Theresa’s College and Don Bosco Technology College nabbed two titles each in the Puma Se7en Cup yesterday at the DBTC field in Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.
The Theresians ruled the girls 15 and girls 19.
STC claimed the girls 15 crown with a thrilling 1-0 win over King Forest FC.
STC's girls 19 squad also escaped with a 1-0 victory over Valiente FC to win the championship.
In the boys side, the Bosconians broke Springadale Titan's heart with a 1-0 win in the under-11 finals.
DBTC scored a 1-2 finish boys 15, while Team Parañaque outsmarted Team Butalao, 2-1.
The tournament continues today as the action in the older categories heats up.
Organized by BRO Nationals, the tournament attracted 120 football clubs all over the Philippines. (FREEMAN)
