Moti said their target is to increase the number of cardholders to at least five million by the end of 2017.

Pag-IBIG's Loyalty Card, a discount card, has no expiration date and can be availed of nationwide. Members can availed of up to 50 percent discount from the agency's partner establishments.

Moti also said that the agency was able to collect P33 billion as membership savings from the member's monthly contributions for 2016.

This year, he said, they plan to collect at least P35 billion as they target to increase their membership by two million from the current 17.4 million members.

"Rest assured that we will continue to look for ways to improve our processes and further improved our services," said Moti at yesterday's Fund Coordinator's Club General Assembly and Employer's Forum.

The forum was considered by the agency as one of the important and biggest events in Central Visayas with the gathering of employer representatives or accredited Fund Coordinators from Cebu Ayala, Mandaue, Colon, Mactan, Talisay, Danao and Toledo branches. (FREEMAN)
