Ice Cream Colors for Summer

CEBU, Philippines — The days are about sweltering now. It’s almost tempting to bare, if only it won’t be improper or outright scandalous. In times like these, foremost on everyone’s mind is a thought of something cold… to soothe parched lips and dry throats.

Ice cream! It’s certainly one of the first images that a hot summer summons. And the idea of ice cream can open up possibilities – exactly what the major fashion designers and fashion labels are thinking.

Gelato hues for summer!  Far out you say? Come on, it is time to be playful. In fact, the idea comes in the pastel pile-up that saw parma violet head-to-toe at Victoria Beckham, lemon sorbet layers at Hermès and tiers upon tiers of pistachio at Sies Marjan.

Some might think it looks like hard work. Perhaps they mistake the color ‘theme’ for the actual cold ‘thing’.
