Food Trainer

“Food Trainer” is an interesting foodie-oriented mobile application, one which runs by the “gamification” concept in helping its users lose weight or, at the very least, maintain healthier eating habits.

Developed by the University of Exter, the app charges its users to pick three types of foodstuff they wish to consume less of, then run through its “games.” How one ‘plays’ helps the mobile suite identify informative points on how the user could better lose weight.

The app can also help users identify which type of food or beverage they should avoid, get tips on how they can reduce food cravings and more.
