Wu-Pegels pair tops Invitational

MANILA, Philippines — Anli Wu and partner Violy Pegels posted the lowest net score of 132 after an 88 in aggregate play and 44 in best ball format to win the overall title in the 19th Forest Hills Invitational at the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club in Antipolo.

Mark Gruba with guest Michael Lim produced 151 (aggregate) and 71 (best ball) to capture the low gross trophy while Ronnie Littaua and Eric Villafranca were crowned Class A champs with 123 (82-41).

Other winners were Jerome Ngo and Park Seung Jin 130 (86-44) in Class B; Marc Tio and Jose Co 130 (86-44) in Class C; Bernardo Ngo and Jose Lim 118 (76-42) in Class D; and Human’s Fit owner Rudy dela Cruz 141 (71-70 System 36) in the guests/sponsors division.
