MANILA, Philippines — The Los Angeles Lakers took a much-needed win to snap a three-game losing streak as they edged the Toronto Raptors in overtime, 128-123, at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Friday (Saturday, Manila time).

In a see-saw game that saw 24 lead changes and 16 deadlocks, Russell Westbrook converted a tough three-point shot with 0.9 ticks left in regulation to force OT and gave the Lakers an extra five minutes to break an 11-game losing streak on road games.

Then in the extra period, it was Avery Bradley going on a quick personal 5-0 burst in the final minute that gave the Lakers a four-point cushion, 127-123 with 12.6 left in the game.

It proved insurmountable as LA held on for the win.

LeBron James continues to top score for the Lakers with 36 points. He also had nine rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks in 44 minutes of play.

Westbrook, meanwhile, had a triple-double of 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Scottie Barnes had a career-high 31 points for the Raptors in the losing effort.

Elsewhere, the Lakers' fellow LA franchise Clippers were on the wrong end of a blowout as they lost to the Utah Jazz, 92-121.

The Jazz dominated the Clippers at Vivint Arena where they were ahead wire-to-wire and led by as much as 41 points.

Five different Jazz players finished in twin-digit scoring led by Jared Butler who finished with 21 markers.

Also stepping up on offense with Donovan Mitchell out for the game was Fil-Am guard Jordan Clarkson.

Clarkson finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals off of the bench.

Rudy Gobert, meanwhile, finished with a double-double of 19 points and 16 boards.

He also had two blocks to his name.

In the other games, the Brooklyn Nets edged the Portland Trailblazers, 128-123.

This behind Kevin Durant's 38 points, six rebounds, and six assists.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, meanwhile, edged the Denver Nuggets in the other overtime game of the day, 119-116.

Lauri Markkanen, Evan Mobley, and Darius Garland all had 25-point double-doubles in the win.

The New York Knicks drubbed the Washington Wizards in a close game, 100-97, behind Julius Randle's 18 points and 17 boards.

The Miami Heat took their second win in a row, sending the OKC Thunder reeling, 120-108.

Tyler Herro paced the Heat with 26 points.

The Indiana Pacers also took a victory as they beat the Houston Rockets, 121-118.

The New Orleans Pelicans beat San Antonio Spurs, 124-91.

The Phoenix Suns and the Boston Celtics took wins as well, coming out victorious against the Chicago Bulls and the Sacramento Kings, respectively.

The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Dallas Mavericks, 111-101.

In the other game, the Atlanta Hawks blew by the Memphis Grizzlies, 120-105, leaning on Bogdan Bogdanovic's 30 points.
