WATCH: Mayweather gets called 'chicken' while shopping in Philippines

MANILA, Philippines — Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a legendary boxer. But even with his scores of adoring fans, the undefeated "Pretty Boy" still has his share of critics.

Establishing himself as a rival of the Philippines' own boxing great Manny Pacquiao, some Filipinos find it hard to like the American.

Mayweather recently visited the Philippines for a vacation in Boracay before coming to Manila for a facial treatment and a shopping splurge.

But one thing the boxer probably didn't foresee during his Philippine trip was an old lady trolling him while going down the escalator.

In a video posted by Twitter user EditinKing Boxing, a woman off-screen calls Mayweather a "chicken."

The woman also says she doesn't like the boxer and that she hates him.

Mayweather simply waved her comments off, flashed a thumbs-up sign, and continued his way down the escalator.

It's not everyday that a Filipina lady can trash-talk Mayweather right in the face, so she just had to grab the opportunity.
