120 matches up at LPC derby matches set
MANILA, Philippines — Bannered by more than 120 fights, the annual “LPC Christmas 4–Cock Derby” starts early on Wednesday at Las Piñas Coliseum.
The event signals the start of 2017-2018 cock season, said LPC general manager Alex Tobias, derby host.
Participants must submit entries (1.8 kgs. to 2.4 kgs.) until 7 p.m. on Tuesdsay after which matching of entries follows.
Entry fee is P6,600 and minimum bet is P6,600.The champions will receive a big trophy.
Now fully air-conditioned, LPC boasts of a three-level parking area (200 vehicles) and 120 cockhouses.
LPC staged the Pamaskong Handog 5-Stag Derby last Dec.6, won by Fiel Saligumba (Super Nova Bob), Onie Tan (Happy Bday Kuwakula) and Kapt. Laguna (Rizal Laguna).
