T’kwondo tiff postponed

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Taekwondo Association has postponed the 2013 National Age Group Taekwondo Championships originally scheduled today and tomorrow at the Rizal Memorial coliseum.

The two-day event sponsored by SMART Communications Inc., MVP Sports Foundation, PLDT, TV5, Meralco and the Philippine Sports Commission will instead be held on Dec. 7-8 also at the Rizal Memorial coliseum.

The PTA had to reset the competition because the venue (Rizal Coliseum) is being used as one of the relief operation centers for super typhoon Yolanda.
