Architects classic golf up Monday

MANILA, Philippines - The 20th Architects Golf Classic annual invitational golf tournament will be held Monday with a huge field numbering to 250 expected to clash for top honors in various divisions at the Sta. Elena Golf Club in Laguna.

A Toyota Altis 1.6 MT by Toyota Motors will be staked as hole-in-one prize on No. 2 while Cats Motors Inc. Chevrolet Phils. and Hyundai Motors are also putting up a Mazda 2 on No. 7, a Chevrolet Spark on No. 14 and Elantra on No. 17 for aces, respectively.

Two shotgun-start tee-offs will be held to accommodate the big field composed of the country’s leading golfing architects and their guests from the event’s chief backers, including major sponsor Boysen Paints.

The first batch will start at 6 a.m. while the afternoon group will start at 11 a.m.
