Roach may game plan na para kay Pacquiao
MANILA, Philippines - Tiniyak ni chief trai-ner Freddie Roach na hindi tatanghalin si Jeff Horn bilang bagong bo-xing sensation.
Sinabi ni Roach na hindi kakayanin ni Horn ang mga suntok ni Manny Pacquiao sa ka-nilang laban sa Hulyo 2 sa Suncorp Stadium sa Brisbane, Australia.
“Upsets are part of life. That’s very true but this is a world title fight and we will not be lea-ving Australia without that belt, believe me,” sabi ni Roach sa pa-nayam ng Fox Sports Australia.
Isusugal ng 38-anyos na si Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KOs) ang kanyang hawak na World Bo-xing Organization welterweight crown laban sa 29-anyos na si Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs).
Ayon kay Roach, may estratehiya na siyang naisip para sa ta-gumpay ni Pacquiao kay Horn.
“I come up with different game plans for different fighters. Horn is a different opponent to all the other guys, every fighter is different,” wika ni Roach.
Plano ng Hall of Fame trainer na gawin ang training camp ni Pacquiao sa Pilipinas.
“Manny and I will sit down together in Mani-la and work out exact-ly how to beat Horn. Whatever Horn brings we will be ready for it,” ani Roach.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Horn na may sapat siyang kakayahan para talunin si Pacquiao.
“I'd never actually thought Pacquiao would still be around when I was going to get my shot at the world title. I'm still young, still under 30, so I'm ready to take this shot,” sabi ni Horn, isang dating school teacher.
Noong nakaraang ta-on ay tinalo ni Horn sina dating world champions Randall Bailey at Ali Funeka.
