Mayweather vs Conor magandang laban

MANILA, Philippines -  Kahit na marami ang nagsasabing madaling ta-talunin ni Floyd Mayweather, Jr. si Mixed Martial Arts superstar Conor McGregor sa isang boxing match ay iba naman ang tingin ni UFC president Dana White.

Ayon kay White, maraming maaaring mangyari sa isang laban.

“Great thing about fights is you never know who’s going to win,” wika ni White sa panayam ng X17 Online. “Believe me, there’s a lot of weekends that we put on fights and I think people aren’t going to win and they do. It’s the crazy thing about the fight business.”

Kamakailan ay inihayag ng 40-anyos na si Mayweather (49-0-0, 26 knockouts) na muli siyang aakyat ng boxing ring para labanan ang 27-anyos na si McGregor, ang UFC featherweight king.

Nagretiro ang American world five-division champion noong Setyembre ng 2015 matapos talunin si Andre Berto.

Bago ito ay dinomina muna ni Mayweather si Filipino world eight-division titlist Manny Pacquiao sa loob ng 12 rounds sa kanilang super fight nong Mayo ng 2015.

Posibleng gusto ni Mayweather na lampasan ang 49-0-0 record ni heavyweight legend Rocky Marciano kaya plano niyang labanan ang Irishman na si McGregor.

“I mean, if it was guaranteed that Floyd was going to win this fight, why would you pay for it? There’s no guarantees. Conor is 27, Floyd’s 40. Conor’s the bigger, stronger guy, he’s got knockout power. It’s an interesting fight,” ani White.

Handa naman si McGregor na labanan si Mayweather sa Setyembre.

“September is what I’m thinking. That’s what the word is. That’s what we’re close to doing,” wika ni McGregor sa Independent.co.uk.

“I’ve tried to talk to Floyd. I flew to Las Vegas to have talks with Floyd and then he retired. He just doesn’t want to see me. He’s petrified. Wouldn’t you be? No one knows what to expect with me, and they shouldn’t. Because I don’t know what to expect either,” dagdag pa nito.
