Gary V. nilinaw ang pagreretiro

Nilinaw ni Gary Valenciano na hindi pa siya magreretiro sa pag-awit.

Matatandaang umugong ang balitang magre-retire na si Mr. Pure Energy dahil sa titulo ng kanyang upcoming concert sa April na One Last Time. People started speculating na ito na ang huli niyang concert.

Sa latest interview ni Gary V. sa vlog ni Ogie Diaz ay isa ito sa kanilang napag-usapan.

“Alam mo itong title na Pure Energy, wow! Pero ‘yung nakitang ‘One Last Time’, alam ko maraming nagtatanong, ‘Ha? Hindi na siya magpe-perform, magre-retire na?’

“I did not say I was going to retire. Hindi ako magre-retire. I think ‘pag yan ang ginawa ko, pati si Lord magsasabi na ‘teka anak, sandali, hindi mo pa panahon para mag-retire.’

“Kasi binabanggit ko pa rin sa tao basta’t tumitibok pa rin ang pusong ‘to, tuluy-tuloy pa rin. Gagawin ko at gagawin ko ang lahat ng kailangan kong gawin until this heart no longer beats,” paliwanag ni Gary.

Pero panahon na raw siguro para sa kaunting pagbabago given his age.

“But at this age, I think it’s time that I will move on to continue with my music but maybe in smaller venues,” aniya.

“Is it gonna be the end? No. but it will be the end of something. It will be an end of a chapter. It won’t be the end of a book. Then you’ll open up new chapters,” pahayag pa ni Mr. Pure Energy.

Iza, kabogera sa International Women’s Month!

Hindi nagpakabog si Iza Calzado sa pagdiriwang ng International Women’s Month ngayong Marso.

Pasabog kung pasabog ang mga larawang ipinost niya sa kanyang Instagram page kung saan ay makikitang hubo’t hubad ang aktres na bahagi ng kanyang photo shoot noong ipinagbubuntis pa lang niya ang panganay na anak nila ni Ben Wintle na si Deia.

Apat na nude photos ang in-upload ni Iza na kitang-kita ang kanyang baby bump at natatakpan lang ng kanyang mga kamay ang private parts.

“When I look at these images, I am reminded of how powerful I felt when I was giving life to Deia inside me. It was the first time in my life that I fully embraced my body and the DIVINE POWER inside me,” simula ng caption ni Iza.

“As I felt the life growing inside me, I vividly remember holding my belly as it dawned on me what great privilege and power I have been given to carry a child,” patuloy ni Iza.

Mensahe niya sa lahat ng kababaihan, “may every woman be able to tap into their power, in whatever way, shape or form. It may be by revolutionizing change in their own communities. Being a career woman or homemaker, being a creative or having a corporate job. Whether it is by nurturing yourself, a child, pets, plants or other people we have chosen as our family. You are giving life to another, yes, even art — and that is power.”

Aniya pa, “As we usher in International Women’s Day, may every woman feel worthy to take up space and be seen and heard. May every one of us feel more than enough.
