Col. Marcelino idiniin na sangkot sa droga

MANILA, Philippines – Nanindigan ang Phi­lippine National Police-Anti Illegal Drugs Group (PNP-AIDG)  sa kanilang inihaing drug charges laban sa nakakulong na si Marine Lt. Col. Ferdinand Marcelino.

Sa isinagawang preliminary investigation hearing sa Department of Justice (DoJ), hiniling ng PNP-AIDG ang indictment para sa da­ting PDEA official dahil sa pakikipagsabwatan nito sa pag-manufacture at possession of illegal drugs na malinaw na pag­labag sa Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Itinanggi naman ni Marcelino ang alegasyon at kaniya ng isinumite ang kaniyang counter-affidavit at naninindigan din na nasa lugar siya para sa isang covert o­peration bilang miyembro ng Intelligence Service ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP).
