Lotto 6/58 pot almost P400 million

MANILA, Philippines — The jackpot prize for the Ultra Lotto 6/58 is almost breaching the P400-million threshold, as the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office expects the pot in tonight’s draw to hit P399 million.

The PCSO said the Ultra Lotto prize continues its climb after no player got the winning combination 35-49-26-12-10-57 in Tuesday’s draw, which carried a total jackpot pool of P392,060,109.

Although no one won the top prize, 10 bettors matched five digits to win the second prize pool of P1.5 million to earn P150,000 each. Another 736 players won P1,902 each, as share of the P1.4-million prize pool for betting on four correct numbers.

Similarly, Wednesday night’s Mega Lotto 6/45 draw ended without a jackpot winner for the combination 16-44-08-43-24-39, which carried a prize of P110,527,091.

In that draw, 23 players matched five digits to win second prize, each getting P52,173 from a pool of P1.2 million. For the third prize, 1,050 bettors won P1,047 from the pool of P1.1 million for betting on four of the winning digits.
