LIVE: State visit of Chilean leader Michelle Bachelet
MANILA, Philippines — Chilean President Michelle Bachelet arrived in Manila on Sunday for a state visit and to participate at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in the city this week.
She is also set to hold a bilateral meeting with President Benigno Aquino III on Monday at Malacañan.

Bachelet is the first among 18 leaders attending the APEC Summit that seeks to expand trade and investment among the countries in the Pacific Rim.
The Philippines and Chile have had several bilateral agreements the past years, including a memorandum on agriculture forged in March 2001 and another agreement betwen universities through the "English Opens Doors" program of Chile's Ministry of Education.
