SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga, Philippines — The temporary pontoon bridge installed adjacent to the collapsed Aquino Bridge in Tarlac City has been opened for public use last week.

Mayor Susan Yap all safety measures and reinforcements were completed by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority personnel on Oct. 8.

Yap reminded pedestrians to be careful and courteous in crossing the floating structure, which serves people going to and from the city’s western and Poblacion side.

The floating bridge crosses the Tarlac River.

Pedestrians can cross the pontoon bridge until 8 p.m. only.
