2 soldiers wounded in Basilan attack

ISABELA CITY, Basilan, Philippines — Two Army soldiers were wounded in an attack by an unidentified gunman in Tipo-Tipo town in this province on Monday afternoon.
Pfcs. Mark Antony Libo-on, 23, and Jomare Sadjail of the Army’s 45th Infantry Battalion were in a store in Barangay Tipo-Tipo Proper when they were shot.
Investigators recovered two bullet shells for a .45-caliber pistol at the scene of the attack.
Probers have yet to determine the motive for the shooting.
