Special holidays declared in 4 Luzon areas

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has issued proclamations declaring special holidays in four areas in Luzon.
The proclamations were signed last week by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto by the authority of President Marcos.
Proclamation 1098 declared Dec. 10 a special non-working holiday in Meycauayan, Bulacan for the celebration of the city’s founding anniversary.
Also signed was Proclamation 1099, which declared Dec. 12 a holiday in General Trias, Cavite to allow residents to celebrate its 10th cityhood anniversary.
Proclamation 1100 declared Dec. 13 a special non-working day in Aringay, La Union for the commemoration of the town’s founding anniversary.
Recto also signed Proclamation 1101, which declared Dec. 29 a holiday in San Pedro, Laguna for its 12th cityhood anniversary.
