Man held for gun-toting in Quezon City road rage

MANILA, Philippines — A man was arrested for allegedly brandishing a firearm during a road rage incident along P. Tuazon Boulevard in Cubao, Quezon City on Friday.

According to a 911 call from a concerned citizen, Patrick Ewing Manabat, 34, drew a gun on Kenneth Andrey Roxas, 27, during a traffic altercation, police said.

Operatives from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 7 said they arrested Manabat and confiscated his 9mm Glock 17 pistol loaded with 16 bullets.

QCPD director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan commended the bystander who reported the incident.
