Student hurt in fall from LRT-1 platform

MANILA, Philippines — A 17-year-old college student was injured after he fell from the platform bay of a Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) station in Quezon City on Thursday.

The victim, a resident of Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, jumped from the rear end platform of the Fernando Poe Jr. station in barangay Ramon Magsasaysay at around 2:30 pm.

The victim fell into the street.

A police investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
