MANILA, Philippines — A man was arrested for allegedly carrying forged documents in Quezon City on Dec. 1, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported yesterday.

Gerald Casiano, 32, was flagged down at a checkpoint along Maginhawa street after police officers noticed that he was driving a vehicle with no conduction sticker, the QCPD said.

Casiano was arrested when he presented falsified documents to police officers.

Casiano is the subject of an arrest warrant for violating Republic Act 10833, the Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016, issued by Judge Niven Redillas Canlapan of Carmona, Cavite Regional Trial Court Branch 109.

Casiano was presented to the Quezon City prosecutor’s office on charges of falsification of public documents.
