Woman reported missing found stuffed in drum
MANILA, Philippines — An American was arrested in Bacoor, Cavite on Tuesday for allegedly killing his partner and putting her body in a drum.
William Thomas Worth, 71, was apprehended at his residence in Barangay Habay I at around 1 p.m., Cavite police director Col. Christopher Olazo said in a text message.
Mila Loslos, 48, was reported missing since May 5.
Olazo said policemen went to Worth’s house in response to the request for assistance of Loslos’ son.
Niño Jay, 21, said he became suspicious of the foul odor coming from the house of the couple when he went there to confront Worth and ask about his mother.
Policemen traced the foul odor to a drum in the basement of the house.
Three knives and a length of nylon rope were recovered at the scene. – Ed Amoroso
