Farmer bitten by wild boar dies

MANILA, Philippines — A farmer died after he was attacked by a wild boar in Dolores, Quezon on Tuesday.

Ricardo Mendoza, 64, was found dead by a passerby in a grassy portion of the road in Barangay Mangahan at around 5:30 p.m.

The body of the victim body bore a boar bite in his right thigh.

Doctors said Mendoza could have died from blood loss caused by the animal bite.

Mendoza’s cadaver was turned over to a funeral home for post-mortem examination.
