2 bettors to split P23 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — Two bettors, one from Marikina and another from Antipolo City in Rizal, will share the P23  million Regular Lotto 6/42 jackpot they won on Saturday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

The bettors guessed the winning combination 17-11-23-21-05-25, which carried a total prize of P23,061,318.

The PCSO said 111 players won P24,000 each after picking five digits of the winning combination.

Lotto winnings of P10,000 and above are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration or TRAIN Law.

The Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
