MANILA, Philippines — Two persons died when a fire of unknown origin struck a house in Las Piñas City early yesterday morning.

In a spot report, the Bureau of Fire Protection  identified the fatalities as Angelito Supilanas, 44, and 12-year-old Dargie Supilanas.

Injured were Dolly Omega, 27; Reginal Algarme, 16, and Niño Bautista, 28.

The BFP said the fire broke out at the victims’ house along Leo street, Aristocrat Village in Talon Tres.

Arson probers said the fire originated from one of the rooms.

Damage to property was estimated at P100,000.

Authorities said they have yet to determine what caused the fire.
