LTO opens central command center

MANILA, Philippines — The public will now have an easier time reporting motor-related crimes and accidents as the Land Transportation Office opened the LTO Central Command Center or C3.
Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade led the opening of the C3 at the LTO’s main office in Quezon City.
The LTO C3 is the central nerve of the agency in the implementation of operations and law enforcement service using surveillance, monitoring, coordination and alarm monitoring.
“There is no substitute for safety. This instrument is a good system where it can help to perform and change safety on our roads,” Tugade said in a statement.
Motorists and the general public who want to report crimes and other incidents involving vehicles can report it to the C3 through mobile app CitiSend, which can be downloaded at Google Playstore and AppStore.
Among these are lost, damaged or stolen license plates; stolen vehicles; the use of vehicles in the commission of crime and road crashes.
