Zamora seeks new term as San Juan mayor

MANILA, Philippines — San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora and his ticket filed their certificates of candidacy at the Commission on Elections office in the city yesterday.

Among those under Zamora’s ticket is his sister, lawyer Bel Zamora, who is running for congresswoman.

The others are Vice Mayor Warren Villa; James Yap, Paul Artadi, Angelo Agcaoili, Ryan Llanos Dee, Raissa Laurel and Ervic Vijandre for councilors of San Juan’s first district; and Don Allad, Totoy Bernardo, Bea de Guzman, Macky Mathay, Kit Peralta and Franco Yam for councilors of District 2.
