Woman found dead in hotel

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Philippines — A woman was found dead in a hotel in Antipolo City, Rizal on Sunday night.

The woman, identified as Marife Baliña, was last seen entering the hotel with a man at around 7 p.m.

Hotel employee Rexur Lluz told police he knocked on the couple’s room after three hours to inquire whether they wanted to extend their stay.

When no one answered, Lluz said he opened the door and found the woman in bed, dead.

A blanket was looped around the victim’s neck, police said. Investigation is on going.
