150 POGO workers held

MANILA, Philippines — Over 150 Chinese working for an illegal Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) in Quezon City were apprehended on Tuesday night.

Police raided the POGO firm located along Scout Lazcano street in Barangay Laging Handa.

Police said the company operates without business permit.

Authorities said they recovered 2,012 cell phones, 149 computers and laptops, printers, modems and P213,880 during the operation.
