2 cops wounded in Bukidnon grenade blast

MANILA, Philippines — Unidentified motorcycle-riding men hurled a grenade at a checkpoint in Cabanglasan, Bukidnon on Monday, leaving two police officers wounded.

S/Sgt Junmark Suico and Pat. Alvin Claunan of the First Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company were brought to a hospital for treatment.

Lt. Col. Mardy Hortillosa II, Northern Mindanao police spokesman, said the grenade attack occurred in Barangay Mandain at around 7:30 p.m.

A manhunt for the suspects is underway.
