Public warned vs fake PCSO social media accounts

Janvic Mateo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) yesterday warned the public against fake social media accounts promising prizes by using the name and logo of the agency.

PCSO general manager Alexander Balutan said they have received reports of a social media page asking netizens to like and share the page for a chance to win a house and lot.

“These fake accounts are not new,” he said in a statement.

He called on the public to visit the official PCSO website at www.pcso.gov.ph for official announcements, winning numbers and other updates from the agency.
