Ex-village chief’s wife found dead

URDANETA CITY, Philippines – The wife of a former village chief was found dead with a gunshot wound at their home in this city on Sunday.

The body of Eden Antiniw was found by her husband Nolan in the bathroom of their house in Barangay Nancamaliran East.

Nolan said his wife was holding a .45 caliber pistol when he found her at around 4:45 p.m.

Probers recovered at the crime scene a bullet, a bullet shell and a kitchen knife.

Nolan was taken to the police station to shed light on the incident.
