Isabela bank exec shot dead

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – An official of a bank in Isabela died while his wife was wounded in a gun attack in Barangay Muñoz West in Roxas town on Thursday.

Herminio Ocampo, chief executive officer of First Isabela Cooperative Bank, was fixing his baggage in his car around 4:30 a.m. when unidentified men on a motorcycle shot him, a report to Senior Superintendent Leon Rafael, Isabela police director, showed. ?

Ocampo was declared dead on arrival at a hospital in Cauayan City, where his wife, Lydia, who was hit in the leg, was also brought for treatment.

An investigation is ongoing.
