5 shot dead in Bulacan

MALOLOS, Bulacan, Philippines – Five persons were found dead with gunshot wounds in their bodies at a house in Baliwag town in this province on Saturday. 

The victims were identified as Mark Christian Borgonia, 16; Alvin Cruz, 42; Axel John Batac, 21; Angel Romero, and a certain Kamote.

They were found by Mark Anthony Johnson at around 9:30 p.m. in a room rented by partners Batac and Romero, a report submitted to the office of provincial police director Senior Superintendent Ferdinand Divina stated.

Police recovered bullet shells and cartridges for a .45 caliber pistol and drug paraphernalia at the crime scene.

Police are eyeing drugs as the motive for the killing.
