12 drug suspects arrested in Pampanga

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga, Philippines – Twelve suspected drug pushers were arrested in stings in this city and in Candaba town on Sunday and Monday.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said four alleged drug pushers were arrested in a bust along Roxas street in Barangay Dau in this city and eight in Candaba.

Sachets said to contain shabu and dried marijuana leaves were seized from Lawrence Lagman, 39; Giovanni Mallari, 29 and Rolando Cayab-yab, 30, according to Mabalacat police chief Superintendent Nick Torre.

Alfer Manarang, 27; Renante Palayo, 28; Armando Mateo, 32; Michael Manalili, 27; Roberto Rabanan, 24; Gilbert Carpio, 25; and Raul Manarang, 34 were arrested in another operation in Candaba, according to town police chief Superintendent Crisente Tiguello.
