Young sisters killed in Pasig fire

MANILA, Philippines - Two children were killed after being trapped inside their burning house in Pasig City on Friday.

Initial reports said identified the fatalities as Arlene, 5 and her sister Richie Anne, 4.

The victims failed to get out of their burning home in Barangay Kalawaan, Pasig City.

Firefighters recovered the children's bodies after the 15-minute blaze.

Barangay officials said that the children's mother was out of the house during the fire.
