MANILA, Philippines - Filipinos got stuck in traffic due to flooding or stranded in their homes as heavy rains hit Metro Manila since Sunday, but their tweets and photos flooded social media.

Netizens captured the knee-deep waters along major roads in Manila through their mobile phones.

The images also show people braving the floods, vehicles awash in highways and those who still try to make a living despite the severe conditions.

Others insert some humor by inserting cartoon characters from Disney's blockbuster Finding Nemo into the scenes.
