Radioman’s slay suspect  surrenders

The suspected triggerman in the murder of radio commentator Ferdie “Batman” Lintuan surrendered to the jail warden of Davao City the other day, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said.

Reynaldo Esmeralda, NBI deputy director for regional operations, said the suspect, Leonilo Larosa, was accompanied by his lawyer when he gave himself up to the jail warden.

Esmeralda said the motive in the killing of Lintuan last Dec. 24 was personal. 

Larosa was a blocktimer of radio station dxGO of the Manila Broadcasting Co., for which Lintuan also worked.  – Sandy Araneta
