MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa will leave for China this week to attend the 86th International Police Generals Assembly, an official said yesterday.
PNP spokesman Chief Superintendent Dionardo Carlos said illegal drugs, terrorism, cybercrime and other issues are expected to be discussed during the meeting of international police chiefs.
“The PNP chief, being a member of the Interpol, was invited to attend the activity in Beijing,” Carlos said.
The four-day meeting starts today.
The chiefs of police of 190 Interpol member countries and other senior police officials are expected to attend the event.
