Tipster gunned down in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - A man was shot dead near his house in Tondo, Manila Friday night for allegedly being a police informant on the illegal drug trade in his neighborhood.

Erwin Tumale was found dead by his brother, Angelito, just before 9 p.m. The victim was playing billiards when Angelito heard gunshots, police said.

A certain Pepito Roque Jr. was tagged in Tumale’s killing.
