75 held in QC drug sting

MANILA, Philippines – Police rounded up 75 people in a drug sting in Barangay Batasan, Quezon City yesterday morning.

The anti-drug operation was conducted following a tip from a concerned citizen, Batasan police station commander Superintendent Robert Sales said.

Nabbed during the sting were 63 men and 12 women. They yielded shabu, drug paraphernalia and improvised guns.

The suspects are being held at the Batasan police detention cell pending the filing of drug charges against them.
