Caloocan deploys cops to prevent stray bullet cases

MANILA, Philippines - The Caloocan police deployed yesterday additional personnel to secure areas where stray bullet incidents were reported in the past.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Bartolome Bustamante ordered police officers deployed in Tala in Barangay 188, Malaria District in Barangay 185 in the north, and Pamasawata in Barangay 28, and Bagong Barrio .

Stephanie Nicole Ella, 7, died a day after the 2013 New Year’s revelry and Maybelle Lou Juanitas, 13, was hit in the head by a stray bullet on Dec. 31, 2013.

Neither case has been solved.
