Man accused of snatching female cop’s earrings

MANILA, Philippines - An alleged snatcher was charged before the Manila prosecutor’s office yesterday for reportedly stealing a policewoman’s earrings worth P60,000.

Alex Felicisimo, 19, was arrested by police officers on patrol after snatching the earrings of Superintendent Janet Homo, 41, at the corner of Juan Luna street and C.M. Recto Avenue in Divisoria at past 4 p.m. Saturday, according to the Manila Police District Station 2.

Homo is detailed with the Philippine National Police’s Health Service at Camp Crame.

Felicisimo was charged with robbery-snatching, police said.
