Robber killed in shootout with cops

MANILA, Philippines - A suspected robber was killed and two others were wounded in an alleged shootout with policemen in Malate Tuesday night.

Police Officers 1 Paul Bermudez and Luis Rufo engaged the armed robbers at the Paraiso ng Batang Maynila after receiving a complaint from Marvin Blando, who said he was robbed along Quirino Avenue.

Jimboy Ahadani died at the scene while Lando Lim was hit in the legs and brought to the Ospital ng Maynila. Another injured suspect escaped.
