Businessman loses P180,000 to burglars

MANILA, Philippines - A businessman lost more than P180,000 to burglars who broke into his home in Valenzuela  City, police said yesterday.

Robbed was Gil Mandal, 54, of Barangay Gen. T. De Leon.

Mandal told Valenzuela police officer-in-charge Rhoderick Armamento that he left home last Thursday afternoon.

When he returned Friday, the businessman found his house in disarray.

Mandal lost cash amounting to P90,000 and $2,300, a laptop, gold ring, bracelet, and a Rolex wrist watch worth P70,000.
