Pete Laude - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Two unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen shot two suspected robbers, killing one, in Caloocan City Sunday.

Rolando Marcellano, 33, died of a gunshot wound in the head while his neighbor, Allan Cabardo, 36, remains confined at the Commonwealth Hospital after the attack, said Chief Inspector Ronald Perilla, Caloocan City police station North Extension Office investigation head.

“We are gathering more information to establish the motive for the shooting. The two victims are alleged robbers in the area and have records in our office,” Perilla told The STAR yesterday.

Perilla said the two victims were talking in front of Cabardo’s house in Bagong Silang when two men riding a motorcycle shot at them at around 6:10 p.m.

A team led by Senior Police Officer 2 Joselito delos Reyes was still conducting a followup investigation yesterday.
